My path to design has been fueled by a love for teaching, customer service, and a good cup of coffee! All of my previous experiences were based on human connection and empathy, which I bring to my design career.

From curious observer to empowering teacher

Throughout my life, I've been fascinated by human behavior. Studying anthropology in college provided a framework for understanding cultural differences and why we do things the way we do. Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in South Korea allowed me to not only satisfy my curiosity but also empower others to explore theirs.

Bridging the gap between tech and education

After five years abroad, I returned home, partially due to the pandemic and wanting to be closer to family. However, another force was at play. Witnessing the impact of technology in the classroom sparked a new passion. I saw the potential for design to bridge the gap between education and the ever-evolving world of technology. This realization led me to product design, a field where I could combine my understanding of human behavior with the power of technology to create impactful learning experiences.

Designing solutions for a better world

Product design opens a universe of possibilities to positively impact people's lives. I'm particularly drawn to the potential for design to address pressing issues like climate change, world hunger, and social inequality. As an avid traveler who has experienced diverse cultures, I'm open to wherever this journey takes me, as long as I'm using my skills to create a better future.

Dog aunt, future dog mom

They may not be mine (yet!), but these furry friends brighten my days. I'm a firm believer that dogs enrich our lives and can't wait to welcome my own pup someday!

Extra garlic, please

When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me scouring the internet for delicious plant-based recipes. Cooking is my form of meditation, and the best part? I share my food!

Globe-trotting adventurer

Having lived abroad in London and South Korea, my eyes opened to the beauty of different cultures. Travel is a passion that broadens my perspective and connects me to the world.
